A number of our students are also involved in school-based traineeships (SATs) and apprenticeships.  Students work one day a week, and get paid for the work, whilst completing or working towards a VET qualification.  Simultaneously students are completing their Senior secondary studies.  SATs and apprenticeships enable students to get started on post-schooling pathways and improves future employment opportunities.  Several students have opted to combine their schooling with studying VET qualifications through TAFE, enabling them to get a head start on their future career paths.
