P&C Welcome
Welcome to Yeronga SHS.
P&C members are very proud to belong this school's community.
Our role is to work in a productive partnership with the School Principal and the community to promote the interests of the school and to support its development and further improvement. We want the best possible outcomes for our young people.
As the Yeronga SHS P&C, we provide feedback and advice on school policies and activities. We are able to disburse funds to support a variety of events and groups in the school community. Our wonderful YASG (Yeronga Arts Support Group) provide much appreciated support to the Arts, fundraising for their needs, and providing nourishment for students at rehearsals.
Yeronga SHS P&C does not run any businesses. We support school events and are involved in some fundraising activities. We also search out and apply for grants and are always happy to hear from anyone willing to join the team.
We welcome all parents along to our meetings which are held on Mondays at the top of the administration block (with great city views!).
We start at 6:30pm and usually finish before 8:30pm. You can become a member at any time by downloading the membership form here. Please email the completed form to the PandC executive team email below.
P&C meetings are a great way to hear directly from the Principal and the Business Manager about the good things and the challenges of school life. It is also a great way to meet more of the Yeronga SHS community. Our meetings are a friendly and open space and while we follow the P&C rules, we also keep it a relaxed environment where your input and questions are valued. Community is important to us, and we really like to meet more of you.

Containers for Change
Our P&C has organised a code for Containers for Change so people can donate directly to the P&C when they deposit their cans. The code is: ID C 10679741

Performing Arts Support Group
We are a group of parents/carers/guardians who come together to support
the wonderful work that the YSHS staff do with our students.
Activities/Events/Meetings
- Raise funds for special projects:
- Special music chairs
- New bassoon
- Hold BBQs to bring families together before/after performances at YSHS.
- Run Bunnings BBQs at Rocklea to raise funds.
- Have fun getting to know other parents.
- We meet about once a term. We are looking for volunteers:
- to be on the committee
- to assist with fund raising events
