Adrianne Jones

Adrianne Jones is a courageous leader who reviews, creates, and implements innovative programs to cater for the uniquely diverse students across the Yeronga State High school community. Working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders, Adrianne led the Y Connect program employing creative and Arts-based pedagogies for highly at-risk students. The Y-Connect program involved the Arts Faculty and cross-Faculty teachers and students, and range of artists and external agencies such as Griffith University, QPAC, La Bite, and Circus groups and arts-based pedagogies re-engaged students; supported their sense of connection; improved language, literacy and numeracy outcomes; and extended pathway perceptions.
