​Why support Yeronga SHS?

Yeronga SHS is a changing and progressive school.  To adapt and modernise, the school is seeking financial support from the wider community.  Funds will be used to improve facilities, provide specialised equipment and to enhance learning opportunities for Yeronga students which will assist them to reach their potential.  Partnerships can be financial or in kind. Partnerships with our community and local businesses are essential to our school and assist in ensuring our students reach their full potential in an innovative and dynamic learning environment. 

It is hoped that our partnership opportunities will enable targeted support of students engaged in a range of accelerated programs including our Athletes, Arts and as well as our Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Academy (STEM). The financial or in-kind support will go further to improve facilities, provide specialised equipment and to enhance learning opportunities for students.  ​

We offer three levels of sponsorship which provide tailored benefits for the sponsor and school. Financial partnerships are available ranging from $2,000 - $10,000. We also offer the opportunity for program sponsorship, allowing businesses to be directly connected to one or more of our school programs.

We are thrilled to announce that we have secured our first Gold Sponsorship with Motorama Toyota. They will be our primary corporate sponsor for the Trade Academy, and they will play a crucial role in advancing our students' capabilities in line with current servicing expectations as part of our bespoke Automotive Program. Our official launch with Motorama Toyota will take place at our 2024 Awards Night – Evolution. Motorama is not only a financial contributor but has also been proactive in collaborating with our school to strengthen our ties to the community. They will be part of our industry consultation group for our Trade Academy moving forward. As part of this sponsorship, Motorama Toyota will provide Yeronga with a loan vehicle, complete with branded logos, enabling our students to service a modern vehicle as part of the Certificate II Automotive qualification. We are equally thrilled to announce that Our Medical Annerley has become a Gold Sponsor of our remarkable school. This new sponsorship will be closely aligned with our Athletes Academy Program, offering students access to a nutritionist and physiotherapist as part of the services they provide to our local community. We are planning a series of health advice updates as part of our Yeronga Quick Chat program. As a school, we are excited to engage with a range of health professionals from Our Medical Annerley and expand our students' health and nutritional capabilities, particularly those who are part of the Athletes Academy. Our Medical Annerley will be an integral part of the industry consultation for staff and students involved in the Athletes Academy, facilitating various engagement opportunities to manage individual fitness journeys.
