Yeronga State High School is proud to offer a number of Academies for high achieving and goal driven students in the following fields: STEM, The Arts, Sports, Spanish and Trade. Each program has been tailor-made to enhance student outcomes and address the needs of our students and community.
These programs place like minded students in a challenging and rigorous environment designed to nurture and celebrate their unique talents. Whether it is in the sporting arena, immersed in the culture of the arts or on a journey of deep thinking and problem solving in academic learning, our Academies respond to individual student talents, extending their capabilities and challenging them to be their best.
Our Academies enable students to develop their skills, attributes, talents, abilities and academic knowledge beyond the standard classroom setting. We have professional partnerships with tertiary and business organisations to ensure our programs have real world applications.

Academy applications for Year 7 2025 close on Friday 21 June 2024 at 3pm.
