Our Commitment to Communication: Compass Platform, Q Parents
We are dedicated to fostering open and effective communication channels between our staff, parents, and students.
Compass is our new and improved communication tool, designed to streamline information sharing and keep you up-to-date with important cohort messages and updates relevant to your child.
We extend our appreciation to the parents who have already completed the identification process for Q Parents. This Education Queensland approved platform simplifies permission forms, consent for excursions, and online payments. We will transition to primarily using online permission forms, furthering our commitment to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.
To support you in accessing Q Parents, please visit our Finance Officer at the main office or email them on Accounts@yerongashs.eq.edu.au if you have not yet completed the identification process. Our Finance Officer will assist you in finalising the required steps to activate your Q Parents account.
While we acknowledge the importance of various communication avenues, our feedback from parents has shown a preference for personal emails as the preferred option for engagement with the school. With the introduction of Compass as our new parent communication strategy, we hope to strengthen your connection to school events, attendance, and notifications from Yeronga. We understand that in the busy nature of supporting our students, occasional missed emails or updates may occur. Compass aims to provide you with an additional avenue of support to ensure you are informed about the happenings at our school.
