National Award Win: Horizons Women’s Hub
We are thrilled to announce that Yeronga State High School’s Horizons Women’s Hub has been awarded Best Co-Curricular Program at the 2025 Australian Education Awards.
This prestigious award recognises the Horizons Women’s Hub as a leading example of student-centred, inclusive programming that empowers young people to grow in confidence, leadership and wellbeing. The Hub provides a safe, supportive space where students connect, learn and thrive - reflecting our commitment to quality pathways and holistic education.
National Finalist: Wellbeing Program
Adding to this achievement, Yeronga State High School was also named a finalist for our Wellbeing Program at the National Educator Awards, held in Sydney.
This recognition acknowledges the deep care, innovation and collaboration that underpin our whole-school approach to wellbeing. It reflects our belief that when students feel safe, supported and valued, they are empowered to succeed both academically and personally.
