Applications Now Open for the 2027 Senior Athletes Academy
Yeronga State High School is pleased to announce that applications are now open for our 2027 Senior Athletes Academy, including our exciting new Diploma of Sport pathway.
Delivered in partnership with Fit Education, the program enables students to complete a nationally recognised Diploma of Sport and Certificate II in Sport Coaching throughout Years 11 and 12. This dual qualification provides students with practical coaching, leadership and sport industry skills while creating an additional pathway to university and further study in sport, fitness, health and related fields.
The Diploma is completed as one timetabled subject across Years 11 and 12. The cost of the dual qualification is approximately $995 with Career Ready funding (or $1,995 without funding), in addition to the annual $100 Athletes Academy fee.
Students who wish to pursue an alternative senior pathway, such as a full General Subjects program or the Diploma of Business, are still encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will continue to participate in weekly Academy training, mentoring and exclusive Athletes Academy opportunities.

Applications close on Friday 28 August (Week 7).
